Smokey's Story

Smokey is a gentle girl who enjoys affection and being petted. She does love attention, but like many cats, she can become overstimulated and will let you know when it is time for a break. She will do best with someone who understands cat body language and gives her time to become confident again. Once she's comfortable, Smokey truly enjoys gentle affection and will thrive in a calm, patient household. <br/><br/>Although she is around other cats at the sanctuary, she would be the happiest if she were the only cat in the household. <br/><br/>Smokey is up to date on her vaccines, dewormed and has been spayed.

Our Mission

Happy Days was built in order to rescue and protect homeless and abandoned cats and kittens. It is now one of the larger feral cat sanctuaries in Ontario. The sanctuary provides a safe home to cats in distress whether abandoned or feral with the hope that they can move on to a ‘Forever Home’.
