Smokey's Story

Meet Smokey: A Sweet, Playful Heart Waiting for His Forever Home!
Smokey is a young, affectionate cat with an endless supply of love to give. He was found near a firehouse and brought to A Pathway to Hope for rescue. From the moment we met him, it was clearthis lovable kitty just wants to be your best friend! Smokey's gentle purrs and playful nature will quickly win you over, and his sweetness is sure to brighten any room.
While Smokey was given a clean bill of health after his rescue, he did test positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). However, he is not showing any symptoms and is believed to only be positive for exposure, not the active virus. Smokey is happy, healthy, and ready to live a full, loving life!
We are looking for a special family where Smokey can be the only cat, as FeLV is contagious to other cats but poses no risk to dogs. Smokey currently lives in a foster home with several dogs and gets along great with them! Hes a social guy, and his interactions with the dogs have been nothing short of adorable and silly.
This playful, friendly, and loving kitty just needs a family who will cherish him for the amazing companion he is. If you're interested in giving Smokey the loving home he deserves, please fill out an adoption application today. Hes waiting to share all his purrs and cuddles with you!

https://youtu.be/VaPgy6ZzP5E
