Smokey's Story

Smokey was a stray in Bismarck, Mo and befriended a shop owner there. He was limping and hungry. He didn’t resist at all when she picked him up and took him in. That’s when she reached out to Heartland.<br/><br/>Smokey is now off the streets with a warm bed and food at his disposal at all times. He is very calm and low key. He loves looking out the window and sleeping on his memory foam pillow. He is learning that toys can be fun too! He will come running for wet food and treats. He is pretty oblivious to the other cats in the room and has not been dog tested.<br/><br/>Smokey is neutered, microchipped , tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and is current on vaccinations. 14325JT

Cat adoptions are by appointment and are conducted at the O'Fallon & Wentzville Petsmart stores or at the Whisker Station Cat Cafe in Kirkwood. Dog adoptions are by appointment. Interested parties may fill out an adoption application at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/58117/generic In order to be considered for an adoption you must: Be at least 21 years of age Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in your household. Have a landlord's name and phone number if you rent. Understand that Heartland Humane Society must approve your application.
