Smokey

Smokey and her littermates were being fed by a kind person when mama and one of the kittens disappeared, leaving 4 orphaned kittens barely able to survive. The kind person reached out to us to save these kittens, so we put together a plan, put the word out for help and a foster, and it all came into place. We were able to catch all 4 kitties and they went to a foster home to learn what a safe and loving environment is. <br/><br/>They continue to be socialized but all of them are learning a little at a time. Smokey is the most timid of the 4 but has enough curiosity to be inquisitive. She is playful with her sisters and follows the resident cats around. She is very cautious around humans and will hide if she feels scared. She does allow petting when she is lounging on the cat tree. Smokey is litter box trained and uses different ones for pee and another for poop. She loves a clean litter box. Smokey loves the foster's resident cats (both male and female), gets along with the resident dogs (big and small), and co-exists with exotic birds. <br/><br/>Smokey is spayed, current on vaccinations (next due 9/10/2027) and microchipped. <br/><br/>Smokey (and her sisters) would do best in a multi-cat household so she can continue to learn from an older cat since she lost her mama at an early age.
