Smirch's Story

Meet Smirch, a sweet, young cat mom who is relearning how to be a single cat. She is between 12-18 months.

Smirch can be shy, but she seeks out her people for a head butt or scratch behind the ears. She was a mom at a very young age and raised her beautiful kittens outside on her own until she was brought inside.

This affectionate cat is learning how to play again and can be found with toys. She absolutely adores Churu and is right there when she see the treats.

This beautiful tuxedo female was found in West Seattle with 3 kittens less than a week old. Her exact age is unknown, but estimated to be between and 12 and 18 months.

It was clear when brought inside that she had lived in a home before. Smirch is fully litter trained, and loves to stretch on a bed or carpet. Smirch has what looks like a thumb smudge next to her nose. She is small, super chill and great with other animals.

What Smirch is looking for in a home:

- She is newer to indoor life with humans, so she needs a kind and patient guide to help continue adjusting . Loud noises and fast movements, and strangers can make her nervous.
- She needs to live indoors only.
- She has a positive history with other cats.
- She has a positive history with small dogs.
- She has no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Thank you for your interest in adopting Smirch! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt her by filling out this questionnaire: https://bit.ly/ACPAdoptionForm

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire.
