Hello! I’m Slinky! I’m a pretty outgoing guy. I love to be around people, but I also love my personal space. I like to lounge around and observe what everyone is up to. I’m not too into toys really, but I love wand toys and cat trees are my favorite! I love to climb, eat, be pet on my own terms, and sleep! I am looking for a family who has really comfy places for me to lay on and climb. My goal is to be the center of attention at all times. I’m not afraid of anything and I’m ready to take anything on!<br/><br/>Slinky is a 6 year old Russian Blue mixed breed cat. He is FELV/FIV negative, neutered, microchipped and vaccinated! He is a very independent cat who while he doesn’t always like to be picked up and loved on- he always loved to be in the same room as his people! He truly attaches to the people he likes. He gets along very well with other cats and dogs, unsure about children. Slinky is fun-loving and adventurous. He deserves nothing but the best home. If you are interested in meeting him please send an email and we will get you guys to meet!<br/><br/>[NOTE: We are a rescue NOT a shelter, meaning WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. Typically, an application and home visit (both of which are required for adoption) MUST be completed, BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets, in order to first determine that our basic adoption requirements are met, prior to introductions being made. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee for Slinky is $100 which includes 6 months worth of heartworm prevention.
