SLIM handsome & affectionate

Feeling a bit tired and beat up by life? Looking for a cat who will come running to you for affection when you walk through the door? Slim’s your guy! He has also been beat up a little by life—he must have started off as an indoor cat (he is perfectly litter trained, and loves his cat bed) but at some point he found himself on the mean streets of Brooklyn. He was taken in just as winter started by a friend who had been feeding him, as he didn’t look well enough to last through the cold. Now Slim is neutered, healthy, and ready for his forever home!<br/><br/>Slim is incredibly affectionate, even ignoring his beloved food bowl to headbutt his foster mom and seek out endless petting. He would do best in a quiet home as either an only pet or a second cat to a mellow female kitty. He is indoor only—he has had enough of the great outdoors! We don’t know his age, but we would assume he’s somewhere between 6-8. He is medium sized, around 10-11lbs, and his all-black coat is medium length and very soft.<br/><br/>Slim is FIV positive, which means that his immune system doesn’t work very well (another reason he should be indoor only). FIV can only be passed from one cat to another by a deep bite, and Slim… Slim only has three teeth, so that’s unlikely to happen. (Plus, he’s a lover not a fighter.)
