Meet Stix<br/><br/>Stix is an approximately 3-year-old domestic short hair with the sweetest soul and a quiet resilience that will absolutely melt your heart. He was pulled from the Minneapolis Animal Care & Control code red list due to a medical emergency, and after receiving the care he needed, this brave boy is now thriving and ready to find a home of his own.<br/><br/>Stix experienced a urinary blockage that required treatment, but he has made an incredible recovery and is feeling better than ever. To keep him happy and healthy, he will need to remain on his prescription urinary diet for life—this is a non-negotiable part of his care and key to preventing future issues.<br/><br/>In his foster home, Stix has shown himself to be a gentle, affectionate companion. He can be a little shy at first, but give him a little time and he will quickly warm up into a loving, snuggly boy who enjoys being near his people. He hasn’t been around other cats in foster, but he was originally found with multiple cats, so with proper introductions, he may do well with feline friends.<br/><br/>Stix is also a bit of a clean-freak (we respect it ) and prefers a very tidy litter box—his foster is currently scooping twice daily, and he would love a home that can keep up with his high standards.<br/><br/>As he continues to feel better, his playful side is starting to shine! He enjoys cozy hideaways where he can feel safe and is beginning to rediscover the joy of toys and playtime.<br/><br/>Stix is looking for a home that will give him the consistency, care, and love he deserves after everything he’s been through.
