Slate's Story
Date of Birth: September 2021

Personality: Slate is a very sweet, beautiful cat. He is extremely playful and likes a good scratch behind the ears, but he can also get overstimulated, so we try to give him love in small doses. Slate will need a very special home to give him the safe and loving space he needs. We believe he would do best as a solo cat.

History: We took Slate in after he was struck by a car. He was taken to a vet by a Good Samaritan, and fortunately, he had not suffered any serious physical injuries. After we took him in and he was back up on his paws, we noticed he was displaying symptoms of neurological trauma - a bit of a wobbly gait and swaying when walking and he sometimes loses his balance, though he’s quickly back on this feet.
