Slash's Story

Slash and his sister Roscoe were found at three weeks in healthy and good condition. After a brief time of bottle feeding, they transitioned to being independent eaters and playful littermates. Slash is now 5.5. months old and the sweetest little boy ever. He is like a little toddler who eats, plays, needs to check in with you, plays some more, then wants to come to you for a nap. He greets you at the door, plays with his big house cats, carries socks around the house like he's just bagged a gazelle, and loves to help make the bed. He's devoted to his sister and would need to go to his furever home with her. He likes children and other cats, and would very likely like (eventually) a dog. He's so affectionate and smart. Slash is fully vaccinated until his annual vax next November. He has a microchip and is negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Slash and Roscoe's adoption fee is $150. If you are looking for a new companion, stop by an adoption day or check our listings of pets currently searching for new families! However, if you are interested in a specific pet you see on this web site, please contact the listed foster home for an application. Once your application has been reviewed, the foster parent will set up a time for a "meet and greet" (often at our weekend adoption days) so that you can spend some time getting to know the pet in which you are interested. Our adoption fees vary with discounts give for multiple adoptions.
