Skyler Spinach's Story

RINGWORM! Skyler Spinach is currently being treated for ringworm but is adoptable. Adopters are obligated to continue treatment after adoption! These three adorable siblings were found as strays and never reclaimed, and now they're ready to charm their way into their forever homes! They're classic kittens in every sense-full of energy, curiosity, and just the right amount of mischief. Whether they're chasing toys, wrestling with each other, or exploring every corner they can find, they're always up to something cute. All three kittens use the litter box well and have each received all of their FVRCP vaccinations. They are currently pending microchips, rabies vaccines, and spay/neuter surgeries. Their spay/neuter appointment will be scheduled at the time of adoption. Please note: All cats spayed/neutered through ECHS receive an ear tip-no exceptions. If you're looking for playful companions who will keep you entertained and fill your home with kitten joy, Omeon, Chickcharnie, and Skyler Spinach are eager to meet you!

Erath County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

When someone comes in wanting to adopt, we first ask what they are looking for in a new pet. If they can describe what they are looking for, we will make some suggestions based on that criteria, and then let them go through the shelter looking at the adoptable animals. There are kennel cards on each kennel with information specific to that animal. Once they find an animal they are interested in we do a meet and greet with the person interested in adopting. If they have other pets, we recommend a meet and greet with current pets as well. Whatever animal the potential adopter chooses, we highly suggest a 5 day foster period to make sure the animal and the adopter are a good fit.

The mission of the Erath County Humane Society is to care for unwanted and lost animals, reunite lost animals with their owners and find homes for adoptable pets. We work closely with our community to decrease pet overpopulation and to provide a safe place for animals as they await their permanent homes.
