Skye Siamese Sequatchie, TN

Skye is an approx 3 year old Siamese mix gal! She was surrendered by her owner after she began loosing weight and acting sick. She was immediately taken to one of our partnering Vets where it was determined she was in renal failure, the cause is unknown. Four weeks after starting some medications and a special food, she went back to the vet where her kidney levels were stable, but not completely normal. She is currently considered in stable, but chronic renal failure. She does have to be on a certain prescription kidney food and has two daily medications.

Despite her ailments, she is a complete love bug! Her favorite thing to do is sit in her humans lap. It doesn't matter if you are watching TV or surfing the web, Skye wants snuggles! She is currently being fostered with several other cats (and dogs). She would prefer to be the only kitty, but seems to love all her foster doggie siblings!

Skye's perfect fur-ever home would, theoretically, be a family (or individual) already knowledgeable on kitty kidney problems. This will be a lifelong condition for Skye. Could Skye be the apple of your eye?
