Skittles came to us as a trapped barn cat from a local buffalo ranch. She seemed to be a good candidate for socializing into a house cat, so we kept her instead of sending her back to the ranch after she was spayed.

She has slowly come around to being ok with people. She allows petting if it's quiet and calm. She does very well with all the other cats. When it gets loud and a lot of commotion in the shelter her reaction is to run and hide rather than swat and scratch.

This little gem of a girl needs a patient person to allow her to blossom into her confident self.

Upon approval a volunteer will call you to arrange a private appointment to meet the gang and your new roommate.
