Skittle: Courtesy Post's Story

Skittle has been an outdoor cat for quite some time. He's been indoors with his rescuer since March, and he's become quite friendly and affectionate (on his own terms). Lately he's taken to sitting on the couch watching TV with his rescuers (which assures he gets lots of pets and attention). He can still be shy at times and will run and hide when suddenly anxious - and even do some swatting or biting if over stimulated. Some remnant of his couple of years on the street no doubt when he always had to be vigilant of threats. But then it's not long before he calms down and becomes quite social and friendly again.

Skittle has learned to be chatty at meal times when he's ready to be fed. He would make a lovely pet for someone with some cat experience willing to be patient and give him some time to settle into his new situation. He is best likely as a single cat or going to a home with a mellow, calm cat that he can cohabit with as he is easily overwhelmed and bullied by our jealous young lady cat at home and will hide from an aggressive cat if he's not feeling very courageous. Skittle is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

Email josh@imperfectfilms.com to apply!
