Skipper

Skipper is a 15-year-old beauty who found himself without a home after his mom passed away. Luckily her best friend took him in, carrying through on a promise she made to care for him. But he and her other cat did not get along. So she desperately tried to find another home for him, calling rescues and posting on social media to no avail. We were overflowing when she first called, but Skipper's plight stuck with us. Thanks to some recent adoptions we were able to take in Skipper. We are excited to give him a soft space to land with one of our foster heroes, and will now match him with a senior human as part of our Seniors for Seniors program. Welcome to the Misfit family, Skipper!<br/><br/>His amazing foster has learned that Skipper loves treats, following his humans, talking, being petted, looking out the window, cozy beds, and affection. He's not a big fan of other animals and may do best as an 'only cat.' Skipper is confident, sweet, active, friendly, curious, and loving. He likes a large litter box to have plenty of space.
