Skinamarink's Story

Our girl Skinamarink is large and in charge! This fabulously floofly beauty has a little diva in her, a dash of spice, and a vibrant purrsonality to keep you on your toes! Skinamarink, 8 years old, spent her life with the same owner from kittenhood, but when her behaviour became more challenging, she found herself looking for a new place to call home. She arrived at the shelter unspayed and has since been spayed, so hormones may have played a part in some of her behavioural changes. Under that sometimes sassy exterior is a softer side. Skinamarink can be quite sweet and affectionate with her favourite volunteers, happily sitting with them and accepting a pet or two when she’s in the mood. And if you’re hoping to win her over, treats are definitely the way to her heart, especially if they involve Churros!

Skinamarink is looking for a cat-savvy home with someone who will give her time to settle in, respect her boundaries, and love her for the wonderfully unique girl she is. Children are not her cup of tea, and other cats are a definite no! She’s currently enjoying her own private pad at the shelter, and she’ll be happiest as the only pet, where she can reign as queen bee. All that gorgeous floof comes with some upkeep, including regular brushing to help keep her luscious locks looking their best. Skinamarink’s love of treats is showing a little in her extra "fluffy" figure, and she would benefit from a healthy weight-management diet and some fun play sessions to help her stay happy and healthy. She uses her litter box well.

To learn more about Skinamarink or to arrange a visit to the shelter, please reach out or fill out an application.
