Siya's Story

Siya just showed up at her foster’s one day and decided to stay. We have no history on her, but she seems to be what most people look for in a cat. She is personable, healthy, well groomed and well behaved. She meows and purrs loudly, loves to play and hunt, and adores attention.

Although Siya is not comfortable at this point with being picked up and carried, she’ll rub against your legs for head scratches and will follow you around the house easily. You can tell she wants to live in a secure home with people and be in a close and loving relationship.

We would love to have Siya adopted as an indoor cat but would be ok with her being outside as long as she has a safe area to hang out in. She is house trained but is used to going to the bathroom outside versus using a litter box. She is very concerned about the feral cats who may have tormented her when she was living in the field.

We don’t know how Siya is with kids, dogs or other cats. She has caught small birds, lizards and insects, is always searching the house for other creatures, and enjoys hunting games, so other small animals might not be a good fit.

Siya is available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt, which means we are only accepting applications from the Hurricane area (Washington County). Once she has been fully vaccinated her adoption will become final and this sweet ball of fur will be yours forever.

If you’re interested in Siya, submit a BAM Foster to Adopt Application, and if approved, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting.
