Sissy's Story

I’m a beautiful spotted tabby with really big thumbs. I got my name from a 70s novel about a girl with extra-large thumbs who hitchhikes, but I only want to hitchhike my way into your heart. With these thumbs I’m great at climbing, and I may just learn how to use your phone to order my own cat toys. I’m also a polydactyl, with a tiny extra toe tucked in next to my thumbs on each front paw, and an extra dew claw on one hind foot. (Ancient sailors thought cats with extra toes were good luck. I think they were right!)<br/><br/>I love to chase a toy on a string, and once I have it, I want to keep it! I wrestled and played with my siblings until they were adopted; now I wrestle and play with my mom. I also love to get picked up and cuddled by a human. <br/><br/>I would love to be adopted with my mother, Gracie, or another kitten. I am spayed, tested, and have my vaccinations.
