Now that she's in good hands, she's looking for a calm, loving environment where she can feel secure. Sissy is not a fan of dogs, so a dog-free home is ideal for her. However, with a proper introduction, she might get along with other cats. Sissy would thrive in a home with older children who can respect her space and understand her boundaries. She’s not fond of being held, and she’ll definitely let you know when she's had enough, but she enjoys exploring her surroundings and will meow when she's ready for some pets and attention. Benld Adopt-A-Pet's Adoption Policy

To adopt you must live within 100 miles of one of our adoption sites (Benld, O’Fallon or Springfield IL), and be at least 18 years of age. We require that you be physically present to make the final adoption arrangements. We also require that all cats be kept indoors, and that all dogs be kept or live indoors, with a secure fenced-in yard or pen for when they are outside, unless otherwise discussed and mutually agreed upon ahead of time. Failure to comply with any of these requirements may constitute sufficient grounds for our reclaiming the adopted animal. In order to adopt, you must first complete an Adoption Inquiry, and upon approval, an Adoption Agreement.
