Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat!<br/><br/><br/>SIRIUS BLACK and his 3 siblings (LILY POTTER, JAMES POTTER and BELLATRIX) were found in the back yard in San Jacinto, California. The owner of the home trapped mom got her fixed and released her back into her back yard. Mama cat is very well taken care of. But the owner of the home needed help getting the kittens homes. So, we agreed to help her if she fostered them until we could get them vetted and put at PETSMART. Now they are ready!<br/><br/><br/>Meet SIRIUS BLACK, a playful tuxedo cat from San Jacinto, California whose bold personality is perfectly suited to his striking black-and-white coat. He has been around cats, but he isn't very fond of them. He has lived with children and a dog.<br/><br/><br/>SIRIUS BLACK is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California.<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTION PROCESS:<br/><br/>1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)<br/>2. Fill Out Online Form<br/>3. Submit Online Application<br/>4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview<br/>5. Will be notified of Approved Application<br/>6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)<br/>7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty<br/>8. Sign Adoption Contract<br/>9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)<br/>10. Take the Kitty Home<br/><br/><br/>********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP**********<br/><br/><br/>VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.  <br/><br/><br/>Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit.  A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays.<br/><br/><br/>******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ******************<br/><br/><br/>The kitties at foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.<br/><br/><br/>+++++ PLEASE NOTE: We only have cats in Murrieta and City of Industry +++++<br/><br/><br/>PETSMART<br/><br/>in City of Industry, California off Colima Road<br/><br/>in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue<br/><br/>in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue<br/><br/>in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue<br/><br/><br/>The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!<br/><br/><br/>************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************<br/><br/><br/>If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.<br/><br/><br/>Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.<br/><br/><br/>We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.<br/><br/><br/>SIRIUS BLACK is ALREADY fully vetted.<br/>The adoption fee of $200 covers:<br/><br/><br/>Neuter<br/>FVRCP shots<br/>RABIES shot<br/>FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)<br/>Drontal Dewormer<br/>Stronghold Flea Control<br/>Microchip<br/><br/><br/>We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter, and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
