Hello Sir Oreo! Sir Oreo was surrendered to us due to allergies in the home and he is ready to walk into your heart. Sir Oreo is a very sweet gentleman. He loves to cuddle and will let you know with a nice meow when he needs affection. He enjoys getting a full body rub down and will let you know he enjoys it with the gentle close of his eyes and a nice soft purr. Although he loves affection, he is not too fond of being picked up. When not cuddled up with his people, you can often find him snuggled up in his bed enjoying a nice cat nap. Sir Oreo also loves to play! His favourite toy is a cat wand. He loves to sit and swat at the toy. Sir Oreo is currently eating a vet prescribed diet called Hills Biome and should stay on this diet unless instructed otherwise by a vet. OUR CONTACTLESS ADOPTION PROCESS Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from the Oakville & Milton Humane Society! In response to the challenges the shelter has been facing with COVID-19, we are limiting interactions between the public and our staff in order to help stop the spread. This means that interested adopters will not be permitted to view the animals in person. For those looking to adopt a dog or a puppy, an opportunity will be given to meet with the dog or puppy prior to adoption after a successful phone meeting with the best matched applicant. Introductions to any current dogs or puppies in the household will also be arranged to ensure the dog or puppy is a good fit for the family. The Oakville & Milton Humane Society strives to find great matches for both the animals and those looking to adopt them. The first step to finding that match is for you is to view the adoptable animals on on the following webpage: https://omhs.ca/adopt/ Once you have found an animal who you would like to adopt, please complete and submit an Adoption Application. Please only apply for one pet at a time (or two if you are looking to adopt a pair). Your Adoption Application cannot be processed unless you indicate which animal you are applying for. If you express interest in multiple animals, the Adoptions department will only be able to process for the first animal listed.
