Sinkhole Stephanie's Story

Sinkhole Stephanie is ready to find her forever home!!

When we first met Stephanie, she was timid and recovering from a very serious accident. You may remember our post about her back in June when we took her into our care. She had an untreated abscess that turned into a massive necrotic wound. She is fully healed up and ready to seek her new forever home.

Throughout her recovery and all the daily care she required, she never once hissed or tried to defend herself. That speaks volumes about just how sweet and gentle she is.

Stephanie can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but she quickly shows her gratitude for her second chance at life. She's one of the kindest cats we've ever met—purring the moment we walk in the room and happily demanding belly rubs, which she thanks you for with the sweetest little kisses.

She would do best in a quieter home, as she can be shy at first. While she's been great with everyone she's met so far—dogs, cats, and kids alike—she does have a tendency to hide until she feels comfortable.

Now that she's healed, Stephanie's only ongoing medical need is gentle weight management. She's currently on a low-calorie food and has already lost over a pound.

If you're looking for a low-maintenance, calm, and incredibly gentle adult cat, Stephanie just might be the girl for you.

Stephanie is around 6 years old. She comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped (including registration), and dewormed. She has recently had a bloodwork panel that was in normal range and is negative for FelV/FIV. Steph's adoption fee is $85.

Transport is available to approved adopters throughout the PNW!

Does Steph sound like your purrfect match? Please begin by applying today!
