Sinead's Story

Rescued from a deli basement, Sinead was sick and barely eating. So she was taken in by one of KittyKind's volunteers, who provided her all the tools she needed not only to survive, but also to blossom. Vet care, including a dental to remove a couple of infected teeth, and nurturing restored her health, and patience and love turned her from a cat who did not understand kindness to a cat who has become an absolute sweetheart. This young beauty, about a year old, might still be a little defensive in a new place with a new person (a quick hiss to let you know she might not be in the mood for too much petting), but that behavior is subsiding and even when she warns you with a hiss, she does not bite or scratch and she almost instantly is at your side, purring. She is actually a friendly, affectionate cat who has recently even discovered the joys of lap-sitting, climbing into her rescuer's lap when she's feeling comfortable. She greets her rescuer when he comes home, head butts for attention, and happily sleeps against his legs at night. Once secure in her new home, she lets her curiosity prompt her to explore. She's moderately energetic, on the more mellow side, and she does not like other cats, so needs to be adopted as the sole queen of the home. Sinead is up-to-date on her vaccinations, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and spayed. To adopt her, please email josh@imperfectfilms.com!
