Simone is a former colony cat. She had never lived in a home. She's been with us for about five months & is ready for a furever home.<br/>An ideal home for Simone will need to be patient. She will need a safe, quiet place to go when she gets overwhelmed. Once Simone is comfortable, she holds conversation with her person. She is a real talker! She'll let you know when mealtimes are late & when her water is empty. She'll even keep you company in the bathroom . She loves to lay in her basket by the shower to make sure you're alright. <br/>Simone loves to play with toys. It took her awhile to learn what they were. She had played with feathers in her past but not a lot of others. She is a huge soccer player. Puff balls that can be chased all over are her favorites. <br/>Simone gets on well with other cats and small dogs. She would be best in a home with older children or no children. Small children overwhelm her & she retreats to her room. <br/>Simone is not a snuggler but she really enjoys being petted & having her belly rubbed. She will lay in the couch or the carpet in the bedroom at night. She has never slept in our bed because we don't allow it but after she's settled in she would accommodate if her new family wants that. <br/><br/>Simone is approximately 6 years old. Spayed, UTD on shots. Simone will need to be an indoor only cat. No declawing. She does allow her nails to be trimmed. A cat tree & scratching post are needed for her.<br/><br/>$75 adoption fee.
