SIMONE's Story

The adoption fee is waived for Simone and ALL Desperate Housecats! Adorable Simone arrived at AAC with her two kittens and a few health issues. She was underweight and her gums were red and inflamed. She moved into a foster home, where it was discovered that SIMONE has a bit of a limp. This was caused by a break in her leg (it happened a long time ago) that was never set. As a result, it healed badly, but it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. Simone also has a lung issue which may be asthma. Of the most concern was her inflamed mouth. Thanks to Friends of Austin Animal Center and Spicewood Springs Cat Animal Hospital, Simone’s mouth is much better, as she is now toothless. Simone is sometimes scared of people, but in her foster home, she has come a long way overcoming that fear. She is absolutely the cutest, sweetest cat who just wants a quiet home with lap time, toys and treats! I am a DHC, and I have my own webpage!
