SIMON & PEGGY SUE's Story
Currently located in: Saugus, MA
Adoptable in: All continental 48 United States (transport is available anywhere!)
Good with dogs: Yes, they will adjust just fine to calm, well-mannered dogs.
Good with cats: Yes, as always, a proper slow introduction will be required as with any other kitties
being introduced to a home. Please refer to https://www.jacksongalaxy.com/blog/the-dos-and-donts-
of-introducing-cats/
Good with kids: Yes, they will just need a little space to open up and adjust to young kiddos as they are
not used to them!
Litter box trained: Yes!
House trained: Yes!

Meet Simon & Peggy Sue!

These two are so gorgeous and a lot of fun.

Simon (long-haired silver tabby) is a big wonderful silly boy. While a bit more on the independent/ solo-adventurer side, he can be so sweet to the other foster kittens, grooming the younger ones as they watch him in admiration. Still sometimes he can also be a bit of a wrestle-head, chasing and tackling his
friends when he’s riled up. His mortal nemesis is a roll of paper towels (he will tear them up if he finds a roll). He likes to cuddle after he gets a good sniff and may gentle chomp you; he can be encouraged to level up in intensity because he thinks you are another big cat, but if you are gentle he will mirror your energy. Simon coos like a pigeon and walks about with his huge floofy tail proudly waving behind him. He gets the zoomies like all young cats but at his core he’s just a gentle, mushy, lovey kid.

Peggy Sue (short-haired tuxedo) is absurdly cute. She will hold your gaze with her quirky stare as she head tilts into full belly-time flops. She did this so much that we started staring back and tilting our heads to mirror her and accidentally trained her to do “upside down?” on command. She sometimes goes
by the name Beggy Sue because she just wants to cuddle so badly! She will reach her arm out as you walk by and gently grab you because you can’t forget to give her a kiss on your way past. Peggy is good at communicating when she doesn’t want to wrestle. She’s a big chonk of bubba and typically attentive and present in a gentle way, though she will climb onto your lap and head butt your phone away when it’s time for her cuddles.

They both have been around dogs and other cats, and know about vacuums and even drums! They will quickly adjust to loving their new home.

If you think you are the right match for Simon & Peggy Sue, please apply to adopt here:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1doqwbKyo7ZFi9Wq2ss-et4DLqM7esQfvEUdXVZBnA98/viewform?edit_requested=true&pli=1

Our adoption fee is $600 for the pair, this includes vetting, transport (we typically can get within 1-2 hours of most places) and our animals all go home with an adoption bag to help them transition to their new home!

We will NEVER ask or accept funds until your pets are in your hands. Please beware of scams!

All of our animals are fully vetted before going to their fur-ever homes. They are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, up to date on flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and microchipped!

Please Note: All animals are posted until they are officially adopted. This animal may have other interested adopters in line.

We are very quick to respond and process applications! You will be required to provide 2 non-family personal references, a home video tour, and a vet reference if you’ve previously had animals.

Please feel free to send a video to our email or Facebook upon submitting an application; this lets us know you are serious and ready but also helps us to get you approved quickly. We will text and or call upon receiving your application to schedule a phone interview.

You must be an approved adopter to go on meet and greets. This saves everyone’s time- especially our gracious foster families! This also allows for you to take the animals home from the meet and greet if you so choose.

Interested in fostering? We would love to have you join our family! Fill out the same application above- we have our fosters go through the same process as adopters!

Questions? Please email whiskersfunds@gmail.com or message us on Facebook!

For more photos, or information on upcoming adoption events where you can meet them, please go to our Facebook page www.facebook.com/whiskersfund

Thank you for helping to save lives!
