Meet Simon!<br/><br/>Simon, or “Mr. Si”, is approximately seven years old and after a rough start, he’s ready for his fur-ever home!<br/><br/>Simon was living as a stray on JBER before being trapped, but has quickly grown fond of the domesticated life! As the sophisticated, older gentleman that he is, here are some things Simon would like you to know about him. He only has five teeth left, but that’s doesn’t stop him from being the biggest foodie Alaska has to offer. While it takes time for him to warm up to you, once he has, he is the sweetest soul. (He especially loves chin scratches.) Simon needs to know, and trust his people before he turns into the world’s best love bug. Although he will happily climb into your lap and make you some of his famous biscuits, he would politely ask you do not pick him up. Because Simon had been a stray for so long, he doesn’t quite know how to express so much love and gratitude, therefore this often results in plenty of love bites. Don’t worry, they never hurt! He just really loves you!<br/><br/>Mr. Simon does well with young kids who understand going slow until he gets to know them. While he loves small, calm dogs, he is a little unsure of larger dogs. Though given enough time, we’re sure he’d settle in. Simon is excited about other cats, but hasn’t quite had the chance to interact with one to no fault of his own!<br/><br/>Simon would love a nice yard where he can explore a little bit without getting far from home.
