Simon's Story

Simon is a grey tuxedo with a charming white stripe down his tail. While larger in size, the moment he decides you're his person, you will know it. Simon starts out a little shy, but warming up doesn't take long at all, and once he's comfortable, there's no going back!

When it comes to affection, Simon commits fully. His foster calls him the cuddliest cat they've ever met, and the evidence is hard to dispute: he sleeps beside your head at night, shadows you through the house during the day, and positions himself as close to you as the laws of space will permit. He also has a whole other side to him... one that launches into zoomies at top speed.

Simon is genuinely easy with other cats and has warmed up to dogs too, given a patient introduction. He'd do best with a feline companion and someone who keeps a flexible schedule or works from home, since he genuinely thrives when his people are around. If you want a steady, completely devoted friend who will make every room feel a little cozier: Simon is ready for you! Simon was born 10/29/2022.

If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Simon, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com. Please tell us a bit about your situation, what you are looking for, the composition of your current household (the other humans and/or pets who already live there). Inquires with these questions answered are responded to promptly.

We are always in need of foster homes. If you are not able to adopt, but are interested in fostering or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you!
