Simon's Story

Simon is approximately 3 years old. He was found outside attending a residential address daily for food for over a year. When the homeowner was moving away she reached out for help and Simon was trapped in November 2025. He was neutered and vaccinated and a bloodtest showed that our handsome man was FIV+. Simon is quiet, shy, and very interested in happy cats. He follows the lead of confident cats around him and it allows him to push through his fear and trust. He loves wet tube treats, enjoys his wet food, and he recently discovered that he loves being brushed. Simon is a big guy and could benefit froma weightloss diet to get him to a healthier weight. All in all Simon is a sweet wonderful guy, he needs a quiet home with no dogs to allow him the space to be a cat. He must be 100% indoors only!<br/><br/>He is currently at the adoption centre (March 7th 2026) at Petsmart: 2501 Hyde Park Gate, Oakville, ON L6H 6G6 and will be there for 3 weeks. 1.Adoption application 2.Phone Call 3.Referrence Checks 4.1st meeting - Public 5.2nd meeting- Inhome 6. Adoption + contract signed. We bring the animal, their food, bedding and toys, stay for an hour so they settle a bit, sign the contract and quietly leave. We take animals back if it doesn't work out any time regardless of how much time has passed.
