Simba & Kovu's Story

**DOUBLE THE LOVE, TWO HANDSOME BROTHERS! Meet Simba & Kovu!**

Some friendships are just meant to be, and after **9 years together, these bonded brothers are ready to find a home where they can stay together forever.**

Meet Simba and Kovu! Simba is our handsome orange boy, while his brother Kovu sports a beautiful grey-and-white coat. These two came to us through no fault of their own after a child in their home developed allergies. Now, they're hoping someone will open their heart and home to BOTH of them for their next chapter.

Simba and Kovu are pretty laid-back gentlemen who enjoy taking life at a slower pace. They're affectionate on their own terms and will happily accept love when they're in the mood, but being picked up and carried around? Thanks, but no thanks! They're independent boys who appreciate having their personal space respected.

Now, don't let their chill personalities fool you... **MEALTIME IS SERIOUS BUSINESS!** These brothers get canned food for breakfast, and they are VERY invested in making sure they get the first bite AND the last bite. Apparently, sharing a lifetime together doesn't mean sharing breakfast etiquette!

They're curious about the other cats at the shelter, but we think these boys would be happiest in a calm, quiet home without the chaos of kittens, dogs, or small children. A peaceful environment where they can settle in, enjoy their routines, and receive affection on their own terms would be ideal.

At 9 years old, Simba and Kovu still have so much love to give. They don't need endless adventures. They just need someone willing to love them both and give them the security of a forever home together.

**Simba & Kovu are looking for:**
A home that will adopt them BOTH
A calm, quiet environment
Someone who respects their independent personalities
A household prepared for some enthusiastic breakfast negotiations!

Could you be the one to give these brothers the happily-ever-after they deserve? Let's make sure their next chapter is one they get to write together.

Interested in adopting Simba and Kovu? Contact St. Thomas Animal Services to learn more about our adoption process!
