Meet Simba, Simba is pure joy to experience! He’ll make you a proud Parent. He likes to be in your lap for his naps. He’s very affectionate and well-mannered, a young, gentle, adult boy who’s happy to be picked up and petted, or you can hold him like a baby (once he knows you)! Simba would do well in a home with adults &/or older, calmer kids who are good with cats. We estimate Simba to be 3- 4.5 years old. His coat is a soft orange (almost buff) color with tiger pattern, and with his loving yellow eyes and handsome face, he will soon become the apple of your eye. If he had to be named for an American icon, he would be Swayze! You’ll know within three minutes if he’s the right cat for you, as he warms up quickly to those who make him feel cared for. Simba is Neutered and Up to Date on his vaccinations and was neg/neg on his Combo test. He has not been around dogs while with Laurel Cats, but he has done okay with another cat with slow and proper introduction. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us. Laurel Cats's Adoption Policy

Since Laurel Cats is primarily a spay and neuter group rather than a rescue with a shelter, the cats that we have for adoption are living at the homes of our volunteers. Please contact us and we will gladly put you in touch with the volunteers caring for these cats. Finding volunteer foster space is challenging, and once a cat or kitten is ready for adoption we are naturally keen to free up the space in order to help more cats and kittens in need. We therefore ask that you only apply to adopt one of our cats or kittens if you are in a position to take them immediately, subject to a home check.
