The Orange County Animal Shelter has many wonderful pets for adoption and some that are available for one of our foster programs. If you have questions or are interested in adopting a pet, please call 919-942-7387, option 3. If staff cannot answer right away, please leave a message and they will call you back as soon as possible. Voicemails will be answered in the order they are received. You may also visit our website at www.orangecountync.gov/animalservices You do not need to be an Orange County resident to adopt a pet from our shelter. In order to adopt, please bring a government-issued photo ID (Driver's License, Military ID, or Passport).
