Simba's Story

Simba
Est DOB 2020
Adoption fee $225

Simbas story is a reminder of how easily a wonderful cat can go unnoticed.

For who knows how long, Simba lived in the neighborhood as an unassuming, slightly scruffy cat. Most people probably never noticed him—and if they did, they may not have realized what a treasure was hiding beneath that rough exterior.

Thankfully, one compassionate LapCats volunteer did notice him. She saw the sweet, loving cat that Simba truly was, and from that moment, his life began to change.

Simba is a six-year-old sweetheart with the perfect combination of playful fun and mature tranquility. He loves to play and can be absolutely hilarious when he gets going, but he is equally happy hanging out with his foster, watching the activity outside, or curling up for a nap.

He is confident, trusting, easygoing, and content with just about everything. After experiencing the uncertainty of life outdoors, Simba seems genuinely grateful for the simple things many cats take for granted: regular meals, fresh water, a soft bed, and—most importantly—love.

And Simba absolutely loves his people.

He enjoys headbutts and kisses on his head, and now that he has had consistent meals, he has developed a very kissable little tummy that he is happy to have you adore, too! He is affectionate, people-oriented, and incredibly easy to fall in love with.

Simba has gone from being an overlooked neighborhood cat to the cherished companion he was always meant to be. Now he just needs someone to give him the forever home he deserves.

This wonderful boy is ready to be someones very special cat.

The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.

All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are vaccinated. If they have been rescued as kittens under 4 months, they will not have a rabies vaccine. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped.

We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
