Simba's Story

Simba is a sweet and sensitive male Domestic Short-Haired Orange and White Cat who is looking for a new home. He is very loving and intuitive and has become a 'favorite' among our staff and volunteers. Simba is very good with other cats. While he has been great at using his litterbox in the shelter, he was brought to us because his former owner had trouble with him not using the litterbox at home. His former owner also said he was good with kids, however we are not sure how he is with dogs. If you're interested in meeting her/him please call (419) 294-4477 Ext. 3 from 9AM-5PM to schedule an appointment.

WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1 Visit our shelter! (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)

Step 2 Pick up your new pet!
Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
