SIMBA's Story
When Simba first arrived at our rescue, he was a true wild child—mostly feral, highly skeptical of humans, and definitely a bit spicy! He has come an incredibly long way since then and is actively learning what it means to be loved, pampered, and safe. While he can still have his sassy moments, his "spiciness" these days is usually just him figuring out how to play. He will let you know if he's a litlte overwhelmed. He has officially discovered the joy of scratches and pets, and when he gets really happy, he might even give you a little love bite to show his appreciation. New people can still be scary for him, but if you are patient and give him a little time and space, he actually warms up incredibly fast and is turning into a truly affectionate boy.

Simba is looking for a patient forever home that understands cat boundaries. We aren't sure how he feels about other cats yet, but he is totally fine catching glimpses of our resident dogs. If you have a very calm, respectful dog that will simply leave him be, they should do just fine together. Watching Simba learn to trust has been an incredibly rewarding journey, and he is going to make a wonderful companion for the right person.
