Silvertoes is a handsome kitty that was found as a stray, outside all alone. So young to be on his own at only about 3, maybe 4 months old. <br/><br/>At the shelter, precautionary Revolution was applied to make sure there were no fleas He was also given a precautionary deworming and his Distemper & Rabies Vaccinations. We noticed he had an umbilical hernia - which the vet said could be repaired when he was neutered. (Both done at the same time so he wouldn't have to be sedated twice.) But he was too young to be neutered just yet, so he spent time at the facility enjoying life and playing with the volunteers. <br/><br/>Now at about 5 months old he was old enough for his surgeries, and just yesterday (Sept. 17th) he came back from the vet. Now he is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, is FL/FIV/FeHW negative, has been checked for parasites, has been neutered and the hernia has been repaired. He'll need a few days to recuperate, but will be available for adoption shortly. <br/><br/>Everyone at the vet's office think he's a super cat. (We could have told them that!) They said he's your typical active, fun kitten. All the volunteers love Silvertoes, too, and they would love to keep him around; but we all know the best thing for Silvertoes is to find him a home. <br/><br/>If you have any questions, would like more information or if you are considering adoption, you can give us a call - WOAWL 973-736-8689.
