Silverstein's Story
Silverstein, born approximately 7/6/2026, like his namesake suggests, is a little poet in his own right by poetically weaving himself around your ankles right into your heart! Silverstein will be happiest in a quiet home. Bashful and shy guy at first, once he gets to know his humans, feels comfortable in his environment, and can predict the daily routine, he is a book you won't be able to put down! He will be underfoot and eager to "help" with any household activities and endlessly entertaining his humans with clown-like playful antics & innocent, childlike mischief. He adores (will climb your leg) to be scooped up into a cuddle, but once it's nap or bedtime, he quietly makes way to his person, serenading them with soft purrs and snuggling his warm little body up next to them for a nap.

Need help staying on track and keeping a schedule? Look no further because this little man is all you need! Silverstein thrives when able to predict what's coming next, so once he knows the household routine, he makes sure that day to day operations (like cuddle time, treat time, feeding time, bedtime, wake up time, play time (Did we mention TREAT time? ) run effectively, efficiently and on schedule.

Like most poets, Silverstein is a bit of an introvert (but ONLY when it comes to new visitors) and will need a quiet "safe space" in the house to retreat to during their visit, or he may even let them admire his stunning, custom tailored tuxedo from a distance, but that's okay - what better way to make his human family feel "chosen" and extra special than reserving all of his love, loyalty, trust, and affection just for them? Once company leaves, out he pops, begging for attention and affection as if he is trying to make up for lost time. He won't just give his heart to his family, he will give his entire soul.

If you're looking for an affectionate, playful, silly, loving, and loyal "ride or die" that will only have eyes for his family and are willing to give him the time he needs to get to know you, Silverstein will become your soul kitten!

Adopting from Sheets Pet Adoption is simple!
