Silver's Story

One of the original KD Kitties and longest foster residents, Silver is a petite girl who began her foster journey with her 3 newborn kittens, who have all since been adopted. Now, it's her turn to find her forever home! She's a very quiet kitty, especially for a Siamese, and is also a bit shy due to her former life as a feral cat. Silver is content to sit in a sunny window or cat tree and nap all day long. Although she will not allow you to pick her up, once you earn her trust, she will allow pets. She also LOVES catnip! Besides her beauty, we think her quiet and gentle nature would be the perfect match for someone with a quiet home willing to be patient and understanding as she continues to adjust to indoor kitty life. Although she can be adopted by herself, Silver would likely do best if she is adopted with Tom aka Mr. Tom D’White Paws.

As with most cats, Silver will need time to adjust to her new home. Formerly feral cats generally require more time and patience than other cats, and it can take up to a year or more for them to fully adapt to their new home. Although Silver has lived in a home with an older child and dog, she would do best in a quiet home with other friendly cats and no dogs or young children.

Please reach out for more information!
