Sievert's Story

Meet Sievert!
Sievert is a 4 year old sweetheart with a gentle soul and a curious heart. He can be a little shy at first, especially in new environments, but give him time and patience and you'll see just how loving he truly is. Change can be hard for Sievert, and during transitions he may occasionally pee outside the litter box, but once he feels safe and settled, he returns to using it normally.

This sensitive boy thrives in a calm, predictable home where he can adjust at his own pace. Once he's comfortable, Sievert blossoms into an affectionate companion who loves to cuddle and will happily lay with you. He enjoys sunbathing in warm spots, playing with toys, and indulging in catnip, simple joys that make him very content.

Sievert prefers to be the only pet in the home, as he does not get along with other cats or dogs. He has lived with children before and does fairly well, but he truly prefers his own space and a quieter lifestyle.

If you're looking for a sweet, loyal cat who just needs a little patience and understanding to shine, Sievert may be the perfect match for you.

Cheyenne Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
As Wyoming’s largest animal adoption agency, CAS has the widest selections of cats and dogs, rabbits, small mammals and more in Wyoming. Visit our shelter today, or visit Adoptable Cats, Adoptable Dogs or Working Cats to view pictures and profiles of all pets in need of homes! Visit our website to see available animals or visit the adoptable animals at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. We have three large dog adoption rooms, “cat alley” and critter space. While visiting the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, a CAS adoption counselor will help you find the pet who is the best match for your family and lifestyle. Once you find your match, a Cheyenne Animal Shelter staff person will begin the adoption process, which often takes as little as an hour. Once you have reviewed all adoption paperwork, you’ll pay the adoption fee. Then, you’re ready to take home your new furry family member.
