Sidney's Story

For our little girl Locket, you can't judge a book by it's cover! This one year old seven pound lady was feeling a little shy when it was photo shoot time, but rest assured she is a sweet and loving girl. Locket is a new arrival here to Bideawee and is still adjusting to her new surroundings and all of the commotion around her. Locket would much rather be in a nice calm home where she can feel calm and safe and come out of her shell so she can get all the kitty love that she yearns for. Although she is scared, this girl likes to be pet and comforted, and she also enjoys snuggling up to her roommate Stacey. She is gentle and sweet and still very young and needs a fresh start. Come meet Locket and give this frightened girl a chance!

Bideawee's Adoption Policy
Please visit our shelters to adopt one of the animals you see below. It will say on the website whether that animal is located in Manhattan, Westhampton or Wantagh. Please note that since adoptions will be first come, first serve, we will be unable to guarantee the inventory of animals at the time of your arrival. If the animal you were interested in has already been adopted, we will do our best to help you find another great match for you and your family. If an animal you are interested in is currently in a foster home (it will say this on the website), you will need to submit an application so that we can schedule a Zoom interview with the foster parent. We will be unable to schedule those interviews on the spot, so please submit an application and wait for us to get back to you to schedule an appointment.
