Sidney- Bonded with Cheech 's Story
** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You may need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery**

This adorable little girl is the sweet as can be, Sidney. Sidney and her siblings were found as tiny stray kittens, and thankfully taken in by one of our wonderful foster families. Sidney has an estimated birthdate of 5/26/25, so she's about 6 months old. Sadly her siblings were all adopted without her and she's patiently waiting for her loving forever family too! She had a few health setbacks that sidelined her from being adopted sooner, but this little sweetie is all better and ready for her forever people! Sidney's foster mom says that she is the sweetest kitty that she has ever fostered. And thankfully her foster mom took in more kittens and she found her best friend! She and a little guy named, Cheech have become the best of friends and have bonded quickly. They love to be in each other's company and can't bear to be apart. Both babies have had rough starts and lost siblings, and they have found a special bond in one another. For this reason we simply cannot separate these two littles and they must be adopted together. Their foster mom says that they absolutely adore one another and we want to keep them together. Sidney needed a little help with her eye when she came to us, so you may notice a squinty eye in her photos. Her eye will be evaluated when she is spayed, and it will be determined at that time if she can keep it, or if it must be removed. No matter what it doesn't impact her, and it doesn't cause her any pain.
Besides her BFF, Cheech, Sidney gets along great with the older foster brother and sister dogs and cats in her foster home. Would you like to meet the cute as can be Tiny and her best buddy Cheech? If so, please complete an application and once you're approved, we'll call you to schedule a meet and greet. Remember that Sidney and Cheech reside in a foster home, and not at the shelter, so a meet and greet must be scheduled.

West Jefferson, Ohio
#hsmcohio

Our adoption fee is $100.00 for kittens up to 6 months of age and $80 for cats 7 months and older.
