Shyla's Story
Shyla (7 years old black & white) is a gentle soul looking for a forever home. Life hasn’t been kind to her— she has come from a difficult family situation, leaving her shy and uncertain. Despite this, she enjoys gentle pets and can be picked up and held with care.

Shyla needs a calm, patient home where they can heal at her own pace and finally feel safe and cherished. With time and love, she will blossom into affectionate companion. If you have a quiet home and a kind heart, please consider opening it to Shyla by completing our adoption application.

They deserve a life filled with comfort, love, and the joy of being truly spoiled.

Shyla has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and have received preventative flea and worm treatments.

If you're interested in or have any questions about them, please send a message to TheCatAdvocates@gmail.com. We recieve many applications for our cats and kittens and cannot always reply to everyone. Only chosen applicants will be contacted. Please be patient; response times may vary as we are all volunteers.

CATS has a Foster to Adopt program. This program allows you to take a cat home for a period of time before you finalize the adoption, to determine if you and the cat are a good lifelong match. Matches will be made for residents living on Vancouver Island only at this time.
For more information, see https://thecatadvocates.com/adoption.html.
Please note, the best applicant will be chosen for the best fit for the cat, adoptions are not on a first come first served basis.

Adoption fees:
Kittens, up to one year - $300
Adults, 1-10 years - $225
Adults, 10-15 years - $175
15+ years - TBD
