Shy Guy's Story

Shy Guy is a handsome 6-month-old kitten who’s ready to find his forever home, where he can continue to grow and learn. He and his family were rescued from a farm when they were just a few weeks old by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, and now he’s on a journey of discovering what it means to be loved and cared for.

Though Badger can be a bit shy when you first meet him, he’s made great strides toward becoming a brave, social kitty. He’s working hard on overcoming his initial hesitation around new people, and with a calm, patient approach, he’ll soon be the affectionate, playful companion you’ve been looking for. He might need some time to warm up to you, but once he feels safe and comfortable, he’ll reveal his sweet, loving side. He is very motivated by treats and Churu!

Shy Guy would do well in a home with another friendly, resident cat who can help him feel more confident. Having a feline friend around will give him the extra support he needs to continue building his social skills. He’s still learning how to navigate the world of humans and could really use the guidance of a more confident cat to help him find his way.

If you’re an experienced or first time cat owner with a calm, patient demeanor and the ability to give Badger the time and space he needs, he would be the perfect addition to your family. He has so much potential to be a loving, loyal companion once he gains the confidence to trust you!

Please reach out to us for an application via email CAHmadison@gmail.com!

An approved application must be in place before scheduling a meet & greet.
Please plan your meet and greet when you are ready to welcome your new companion into the home within 7 days of applying.

Our adoption fee includes spaying/neutering, microchipping, deworming, parasite prevention, and all up to date vaccinations.
