2. Adoption contract review and cat chat with our Adoptions Coordinator.
3. Schedule meet & greet with cat/kittens
4. Sign agreement, submit payment
5. Take your new best friend home! (please bring your own carrier)
Adoption Policy Highlights:
All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Known medical or behavioral needs will be disclosed before adoption.
Cats must be kept indoors and may not be declawed.
If you ever cannot keep your adopted cat, they must be returned to Town Cats.
We’re a nonprofit organization—adoption fees go directly to helping other cats in our care.

Town Cats mission is to alleviate the suffering of stray, abandoned, unwanted, and feral cats in Santa Clara County and advocate for all cats. Our team works to find permanent, safe, and loving homes for cats and kittens in our care and provides cat food and support to low-income cat guardians, fosters, and owners.
