Shrimp's Story

Say hello to the catch of the day...our little shy guy SHRIMP. SHRIMP is an adorable male that is thought to be approximately a year old. SHRIMP has piercing eyes and a fancy schmancy tuxedo patterned coat. He has grey fur offset with a single patch of white on his chin and white on his chest and paws.

This little man was seen outside fending for himself in a heavily wooded rural area all alone. A local resident decided to step up and take action to help get this kitty to the safety and security of our cat center. Upon arrival, it was evident SHRIMP was unsure and untrusting...but something in his eyes told us he wanted to learn what love looked like. We began the process of socializing this fearful fellow, and lo and behold, SHRIMP is starting to see the light! With each passing day, more progress is made. SHRIMP is accepting of pets on his terms, learning what it means to play, and realizing us humans aren't all that bad after all. SHRIMP would thrive with a nurturing and patient adopter or family that will allow him to continue his journey of trust on his terms.

It's not easy being a small fish in a big sea, but we feel SHRIMP will continue to blossom, gain confidence and come into his own with an environment of encouragement, patience and most of all love.

Neutered, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested negative, Flea preventative applied and Microchipped.

If you'd like to meet SHRIMP, or any of our adoptable cats or kittens, please fill out an Adoption Form found in the link: https://pawswatch.org/adoptions/
