Shrimp's Story
Meet Shrimp!

She got her name due to her small stature, and after some TLC and a few months of regular eating, it might be time for a new name!

Shrimp is about three years old, and has lived most of her life outside. She was found as a feral, with her 4 healthy kittens (who've all been adopted!), and proved to be an exceptional single mother. She is still semi-feral, tending to hide at perceived danger, and she can become overstimulated by extended petting. She needs someone willing to be patient, loving, and willing to give her time to adjust to her new life as a *slightly less independent gal. However, she is very loving and friendly!

When she was living outdoors, she wasn't shy about approaching people in the neighborhood she was in, and demanding pets from people. Once she moved indoors, she's much the same! Demanding pets, curling up next to her fosters, and announcing her content with loud purring. She also loves to play! She's accustomed to the outdoor lifestyle with high energy and excellent instincts. She'd be an excellent indoor/outdoor, but indoor living is preferable.

Because she does not get along with other cats and is likely to struggle with dogs or young children, Shrimp will do best as the only pet in a quiet, patient home. She has been spayed and given a clean bill of health.
