Shorty & Maria, a bonded pair's Story

This bonded brother and sister will melt your heart with their beautiful black and white faces and tufts of white in their ears and whiskers. Shorty has a white nose with a pink tip and a black chin while Maria has a black nose with a white stripe, black tip, and a smudge of black on her chin. They are playful with other cats and kittens but are more often than not found snuggled together in their cubby, looking like one black and white fur pile!

Sadly, Shorty, Maria and their two siblings were removed from a home where they were not being properly taken care of. They had been indoor cats and were left outside which disoriented and confused them. While the two siblings found their forever home with their rescuer, Shorty and Maria came to United Paws.

Now safe and secure, Shorty and Maria are thriving in their loving foster home.
Although they are both still a little shy, Maria is the more social of the two. Both, however, love to have pets and scratches. Shorty and Maria would do best if they were adopted together and would benefit from a thoughtful and slow introduction to other friendly cats and gentle dogs in the household.

After all they have been through, Shorty and Maria deserve a forever home where they can feel safety and love. In return, these beauties with give you a lifetime of love, devotion, purrs and snuggles.

To learn more, please visit unitedpaws.org or email unitedpawshelp@gmail.com.
