Shivers's Story

Shivers (along with her brother, Shakes) were found in a colony that one of our TNR friends was trapping. These two brown tabbies were so tiny (probably between 2 and 3 weeks old at the time), that rather than release them back outside, our friend decided to hold onto them and work on socializing them. As soon as they were old enough, they were fixed, vaccinated, and SNAP tested (double negative!), and we were called to take them and hep find them a forever home. Shivers is a calm, quiet baby girl. She is a lap cat in training who takes her job VERY seriously. She loves being cuddled, and if you pick her up and lay her on a blanket on your lap to read a book or watch your favorite show, Shivers will melt right into you like a pro...until her brother zooms by chasing a toy! Then it is game on! This bonded pair plays and sleeps together. We would love to keep them together. We feel like they would do well in a home with other friendly, playful cats or small children, or just together as a pair. We will offering discounted adoption fees for anyone willing to adopt them both!

Once a pet is seen that they would like to adopt we ask that potential adopters compete an online application, which will then be reviewed. After the application is reviewed by a team member, someone will be in touch to go over any questions we may have from your application and answer any you may have for us. If we think you may be an ideal candidate for the adoption of the cat you applied for we will finalize the adoption and make plans for the cat/cats to head to their new furever home.
