Shirley - In Foster Care's Story

Hi there, I'm Shirley! I am a special girl who needs a special home. I am very, very shy and very, very nervous. I've been here at NAHS for a bit and although the volunteers are very nice and want to help me adjust, I'm just not ready for people. I hiss when someone tries to interact with me. There's also a lot going on here with people and other cats coming in and out. I'm not a bad kitty, just a senior girl who needs a quiet, understanding family who will meet me where I am and let me be me. I need to feel safe, so one or two hidey huts would be ideal. Please give me time to figure you out and adjust to a warm, safe life. I SURELY need to get into a home soon; please come meet me!
