Shira's Story

Shira
DOB: 5/1/2022
Courtesy Ad

Shira is a beautiful, sweet and friendly girl who enjoys being petted and cuddled. She may be a little shy at first, but she purrs readily and is very playful. She is fascinated with lights and her favorite toy is the laser pointer. She also loves chasing springs. She can be quite vocal and will let you know when she wants to get your attention. Shira would do best as an only cat or with a male cat as a playmate. She tends to be overly aggressive toward other female cats. Her estimated date of birth is in May of 2022.

Shira showed up at our door late at night in January of 2023. She was still a kitten, hungry and a little scared, but very friendly. I found that I could easily pet her and she soon let me pick her up and she would be purring away when I held her. I took her in and soon brought her to my vet and got her checked out, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. I had hoped to keep her. Unfortunately, she has one of my other female cats so afraid of her that Malka will no longer leave my bedroom. I have decided that it would be unfair to Malka for me to keep Shira so I must find my sweet Shira a new home.

Personality Traits:

Is litter box trained
Great for first-time cat owner
Great for a family with children
Should be the ONLY pet in the home
Has been around other cats
Is a very ACTIVE kitty
Is very outgoing and independent
LIKES to be held
LIKES to be picked up
Is used to having nails trimmed
Can be adopted singly

If interested, please contact Edith directly at Crochetsmith1@gmail.com or (760) 994-3699
